David Taylor Garages is a family-run business that has been serving our local community for over 50 years. The garage specialises in everything Isuzu, pickup truck and 4x4's. We have also recently taken on the Corvus UTV, Logic Equipment and M-Tec Trailer Franchises.
We are currently seeking an agricultural sales person to join our team and help us continue to provide our customers with exceptional service. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to learn, have good attention to detail, work to a high standard and have excellent communication skills. Although experience in the agricultural industry is preferred, no experience is required providing that you have a keen interest in agricultural machinery. We are looking for someone who is able to help us expand our newest Franchises M-Tec, Corvus and Logic.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a product expert and resource for both customers and internal teams, for Corvus, Logic and M-Tec.
- Understand customer requirements and provide personalised product recommendations and solutions.
- Provide customers with prices, images, and information; in person, over the phone or email and follow up customer enquiries.
- Advise customers of finance options available and carry out proposals (training will be provided).
- Maintain a clean and tidy showroom and forecourt.
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads through effective prospecting and networking.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of Logic equipment, M-Tec trailers, and Corvus UTVs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers. Aftersales is just as important as sales!
Requirements:
- Must have a keen interest in the agricultural industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
- Must hold a clean driving license. Experience pulling a trailer - Preferred but not essential.
- Have strong computer and literacy skill. Ability to write professional emails essential.
Apprentices and college students are encouraged to apply but must have a keen interest in agricultural sales. Relevant training and support will be given.
